Basic Productivity Software
In this unit we learned the different between Productivity and Instructional Software. Productivity Software is software that students and teachers can use in the classroom to support the learning in the classroom. These types of software are things that where you can create documents for the students. Or students create reports for you to view. Instructional Software is software that teachers use to supplement the learning in the classroom. Theses products can be use to reinforce skills learn in the classroom so students become more fluency in skills.
There are three types of basic productivity software that can be used in the classroom for teachers to help students learn by creating documents or spreadsheets.

- Microsoft Word: This is a program where a teacher or student can create documents and papers to view with pictures and text.
- Excel:This is a program allows teachers to create a spreadsheet documents with formulas for student project. So the students do not have to spend time plugging in formulas. A student can take information they have gathered for a project and input the into the spreadsheet for the output result.
- Power Point: This is a presentation program that a teacher can use in the classroom to present a lesson. The program allows you add voice notes to slides. This is a very cool addition to a slide, with you are teaching an online class or if a student is absent from school. This presentation can be used.
